System mentioned ambiguously in the presentation - needs confirmation.
Valium is one of the longest-running Polish Metin2 private servers of the Medium type. It launched on June 16, 2018 and in 2026 celebrates its 8th birthday of uninterrupted operation. The maximum character level is 135 lvl, and pets go up to 150 lvl.
Custom systems
The server stands out with heavily expanded custom mechanics that go well beyond standard Metin2:
- Dragon Aura System - a 10-tier system replacing the Energy Crystal, based on Dragon Souls and Scrolls crafted at the Alchemist.
- Papyrus System and the Book of Ancient Egypt - a collection of 12 papyri obtained from quests, with active bonuses for your character.
- Sash System with weapon absorption - the sash takes over a percentage of the bonuses from the absorbed weapon, with a maximum absorption rate of 30%.
- Champion Update (January 2026) - a new Champion Island, Champion Expedition, Champion Division, a 5-stage Champion Tower and dedicated equipment.
- Adept and Hero Coins and Shops - November/December 2025, targeted help for players starting from scratch.
Community and infrastructure
The server forum has over 46 thousand registered users (online record of 7981). There is a dedicated TeamSpeak (ts.valium.pl), a Discord server, a detailed Wiki describing maps, dungeons, items and systems, plus regular PvP, PvM, 2v2, 3v3 and guild tournaments.
Getting started in 2026
In 2025-2026 the staff introduced a series of changes that make the start easier (Heroes Map, Hero Shop, Adept Coins, two mini-updates during the 2025 Christmas event).
